OffTime (referred to as “this app”) takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your personal information.

1. Data Storage

All city data and app settings are stored locally on your device in an SQLite database and are never uploaded to any server. Uninstalling the app permanently removes this data.

2. Default City and Time Zone

When you first launch the app, a default city is added automatically based on your device’s system time zone. This process reads only the system time zone setting. It does not request location permission or access your GPS location.

3. Network Requests

• Core features, including clock display, time zone conversion, and daylight saving time calculations, work completely offline.
• The in-app “Privacy Policy” and “Support” pages load over the web. No other network requests are made.
• This app contains no analytics, telemetry, or third-party SDK data collection.

4. Data Import and Export

The app supports importing and exporting your city list:

• Exported JSON files contain only city names, English names, time zone identifiers, and sort order. They do not contain personal identity information.
• Imported files can be merged into your existing city list or replace the current list. Make sure imported files come from a trusted source.
• Import and export operations are handled entirely on your device and never involve network transmission.

5. Data Security

The app uses SQLite WAL mode to protect local reads and writes. All write operations support transaction rollback to maintain data consistency. The app does not use any third-party data storage service.

6. Children’s Privacy

This app is not directed to children under 14 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Updates to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will notify you in the app. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the updated policy.
