FAQ

• Is the time inaccurate? OffTime calculates local times using your device’s system clock. Make sure your device’s date and time are set to update automatically.
• Can’t find a city? The app includes 2,275 cities across Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa, Oceania, and more. Cities can be searched in Chinese, English, and by country. You can also import a custom city list from Settings, using either merge or replace mode.
• Is daylight saving time not applied? OffTime handles daylight saving time automatically using Apple’s IANA time zone database, which updates with iOS. Keep your system up to date for the latest time zone data.
• Did your data disappear? All data is stored locally on your device and is removed when the app is uninstalled. Export your city list regularly from Settings to keep a backup.

Data Import and Export

From the Settings page, you can:

• Export your current city list as a JSON file.
• Import a city list from a JSON file, with the option to merge it into your existing list or replace it.
