Mood Cat is a local-first mood journal. The moods, intensities, tags, notes, and times you create are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to any server by the app.
The app has no account system and does not collect your name, phone number, location, or advertising identifiers.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. Your mood data belongs entirely to you.
The app uses the local storage provided by iOS and is protected by the system sandbox and data protection mechanisms. Please keep your device and system backups safe to prevent unauthorized access to your records.
CSV / JSON export, system sharing, and saving mood cards are only triggered by you. Once exported or shared, files may leave the app's local storage, and the recipient or third-party service is governed by its own privacy policy.
The app only asks for “Add to Photos” permission when you save a mood card, and it never reads the contents of your photo library.
You can delete individual records in the app, or uninstall the app to clear all local data. Files already exported or shared to other apps must be deleted by you in the corresponding location.
This app does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
