FAQ

Where is my data stored? All Mood Cat data is stored locally on your device only. Nothing is uploaded to any server — record with confidence.
How do I back up my data? You can export a CSV or JSON file anytime from “Me → Data Management”. You can also protect your data with a full iCloud device backup.
How is a check-in streak calculated? Streaks count consecutive calendar days with at least one entry. If you miss a day, the streak resets the next day — your history is not affected.
How does the Mood Library open? It officially opens once you reach 200 total records. It contains eight collections, each gathering your daily entries for one type of emotion.
Will I lose data if I delete the app? Deleting the app removes all records on your device and cannot be undone. We recommend exporting your data regularly.

From “Me → Data Management”, you can:

Export CSV — open with Excel / Numbers for easy reviewing and organizing
Export JSON — ideal for full backups or moving to a new device
Mood Card — create a beautiful share image; notes and other sensitive content are hidden automatically
